What inspired you to work in this field or join Jan McDermott Chartered Accountants?

I was looking for a change of job, and happily this position came along

I encounter all our clients at some point

What do you enjoy most about your role?

The satisfaction when a query or job is resolved and completed

Is there a particular area of your work you find especially rewarding or interesting?

Working with clients and the team so that together we can give the best service to all our clients

How do you like to start your day at work?

With a full glass of water!!

What motivates you to do your best work?

I take pride in being reliable, helping clients and being part of our team.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work

The total enjoyment of my twin grandchildren. I power walk with a group of friends one evening a week, which is energetic and fun, and I get out myself most days, again for a quick-paced walk. I also enjoy reading, mainly murder mysteries! and crafting and DIY.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

I spent many years working in the travel industry.
